Our pipe band brings together musicians from Banbury and beyond. We perform at public events, competitions, and parades, proudly representing our Scottish heritage.
We wear the Royal Stewart tartan in tribute to both John and Daniel Laidlaw VC, who wore the same tartan during their military service. See the History section for more details.
The Laidlaw Memorial Pipe Band is available for a variety of events including weddings, parades, civic ceremonies, memorial services, corporate functions, festivals and more.
We offer flexible performance options to suit your occasion — you can book the Full Band, a Mini Band for smaller events, or individual pipers for solos and ceremonial duties.

We are a self-supporting community pipe band who rely entirely on donations, engagement fees, and the goodwill of our supporters to keep going. Every penny we receive goes straight back into the band, helping us preserve our musical heritage and inspire the next generation of pipers and drummers.
